Similar to the standard 112 Tapemate, but has "scissor-action" cutter blades. Pulling the lever as the tape is taken from the machine cuts the tape and triggers advance of the next length. For foil, paper, thick films, and other tapes which do not cut well on a serrated blade, or wherever a clean, straight cut is needed.
